COVID-19 Testing

We do not offer tests at the practice. If you need a test call 119 and you will be directed to the nearest test side.

Currently residents in Wandsworth, Lambeth and areas in Barnet and Southwark are asked to test themselves at Surge Test Sites due to a number of the COVID-19 South African variant being identified in these areas.

Local pharmacies are offering appointments to be tested on site. You can book here at one of the following pharmacies:

If you have been tested you must remain in isolation until the results of your test come back.

You must self-isolate immediately if you have symptoms associated with coronavirus, however mild, including a new continuous cough, a high temperature, and/or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

You must self-isolate for at least 10 days from when your symptoms started. You should also arrange to have a Covid-19 test by calling 119 free.

You must self-isolate immediately if:

  • You have tested positive for coronavirus
  • Someone you live with has symptoms or tested positive
  • Someone in your support bubble has symptoms or tested positive
  • You have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace
  • You arrive in the UK from abroad

DO NOT book an appointment or attend the surgery, a vaccination site, a pharmacy or hospital.

If you have symptoms and live with others, they also need to stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home. The 14-day period starts from the day the first person in the household became ill or if they do not have symptoms, from the day their test was taken.

If anyone in your home gets symptoms, they need to stay at home for at least 10 days from when their symptoms appear, regardless of what day they are on in their original 14-day isolation period. The most up-to-date public guidance is always online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus

If you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home, or your condition gets worse then use the NHS 111 online COVID-19 service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do. If you do not have internet access, call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999
